Friday, October 10, 2008 — 6pm-10pm
This exclusive dinner event is to benefit Christian Action Ministries (CAM).
As the community grows; so grows the number of those in need. CAM is a non-denominational local organization dedicated to providing caring assistance, in Christ's name, to people in crisis.
Come support the wonderful work and continued efforts of Christian Action Ministries to feed the hungry of Taney County.
There will be a special book signing by the artists from 5-6pm.
Dinner will be served at 6:30pm, followed by live entertainment by Eileen Ivers. For more information on Eileen Ivers, visit our Events page.
The evening will culminate with the auction of the top 25 favorite butterfly sculptures.
Come to an evening filled with glitz and glamour for a great cause, and place your bids to make one of these masterpieces your own.
"Believe and Achieve!"
The tickets are limited and can only be purchased in advance.
Ticket cost: $125.00 per person.
Butterflies at Branson is a community art exhibit featuring more than 60 larger than life butterfly sculptures sponsored by local businesses and turned into creative masterpieces by talented area artists. This community-wide project was created to benefit Christian Action Ministries and their service efforts in Taney County.

In an associated project, Stone and Taney County School Districts decorated desktop versions of the butterflies in conjunction with FirstPLACE! Character Education.
Christian Action Ministries (CAM)
Christian Action Ministries was organized in 1984 when providing a central location for food distribution was identified as a pressing need. With the cooperation of eleven participating churches and the community, CAM opened the food pantry in March 1985. Through the years CAM has expanded its services to include assistance with rent, utilities, and prescriptions.
